Outrage(ous) Magazine Review!

Hello! Today when I thought to check out Skype, on my news feed, I noticed Amanda(LadyGagaMcQueen)'s status was saying something like 'Outrage is out!' and posted a link of it.

So like any curious cat, I went to go look at it..

Outrage Magazine is a magazine owned and publicized by LadyGagaMcQueen, 'til this day to be honest, I find her name to be rather cheesy.. But anyway! And here along with Noj(nojarama), I will review the magazine's first issue!

The cover: Dei's rating 6 out of 10 - / Noj's rating - 2 out of 10

Dei: Its not bad, though her cropping skills could use a bit of work. But the font usage is a bit.. tacky. But I actually like the dress, its an improvement for her. Though I do not understand the random flowers and the weird tunnel thing..

Noj: Badly made, the models body has biceps next to her elbow, awkwardly lumpy arm pits overall it's really not neat. The dress isn't as bad it could be improved I don't know why but on the left it looks like someone's been using the dress as an ashtray. The background confuses me I'm not sure if it's some sort of a black hole sucking things in or a wall with objects flying about.

The graphics: Dei's rating - 3.5 out of 10 / Noj's rating - 0 out of 10

Dei: Overall, I wasn't surprised by them, they remind me of the horrid 'Beg For More..' banners that she made, which was pretty much her placing a medoll's face on a real person's body and coloring the skin. But like I said about the cover, its an improvement from her. Though she should work on her hair and clothes design skills. She has potential but.. I really am not a huge fan of how she literally copies and pastes real life shoes and clothes and uses them.. its kind of lazy.. I mean really, you CAN find a lot of clothing she is talking about ON Stardoll.. Its not very hard..

Noj: The graphics are appalling in the magazine, it obvious pictures were taken and sharpened or posterized in an attempt to make them look like graphics. Have they ever head of 'smoothen'ing? The tool is there for a reason USE IT. It disappoints me how they just basically pull out pics of medolls and just pop them on top of badly edited pictures and try to pass them off as 'graphics'. Some graphics look like they were actually made, shocking. However not made well. The hairstyles are crazy they're end in blocks rather than strands. The teams laziness is obvious they need to have a serious think before releasing another issue because it's really embarrassing.

The articles: Dei's rating - 7 out of 10 / Noj's rating - 2 out of 10

Dei: I think it is very sweet of her to use such huge text sizing on most of the articles, I am sure many reading impaired people thank her for her kindness in thinking about them when she put her text in about 26 Time's New Roman. But seriously, the fonts were tacky with the weird pastel backgrounds for them. And the one about hats.. all I saw was a person babbling on about how much they think hats are in style. And the reason I choose the makeup tutorials as the worst articles to me is because.. it was on Big Brother Stardoll(click here)! Hello?! Why re-use a makeup tutorial that's already been published?! And I hated the smokey eye'd one anyway because.. it's NOT a smokey eye, I mean really, where is the blending of another color? It's just a black eye..

Noj: The graphics were so bad, I didn't bother reading the articles. And, 'The Mad Hatter' one looks like it was made on paint..

Overall Review of Outrage Magazine:

Dei: My review is 'needs improvement', bottom line. Nothing else I can saying really. It was a lovely attempt, but really, its too.. Eh. But I can see it being improved!

Noj: The team is clearly lazy and the magazine was evidently rushed, either not enough time was spent on it or the graphics producer needs to be fired or brush up on his/her skills asap. I see why the magazine was called Outrage it put me on the brink of self destruction.

Overall Rating of Outrage Magazine: Dei's - 5 out of 10 / Noj's - 1 out of 10

Never Ending Story....

Finally something worth writing about! We've got bit of a feud in our gossip-less Dollywood world. Between whom? Brit-On-Me and all non-Christians everywhere perhaps?? Ok, maybe not, but Christianity sure seem to play a role.

It all began when Effay wrote "JACK AND NOJ ARE FAGG*TS AND LADYGAGAMCQUEEN IS A FAMEWH*RE" on his presentation. Of course Nojarama wasn't too pleased by the derogatory term and felt it was homophobic and downright rude on a personal level, which he posted about it on Beg For More. But according to Nojo, Effay is bi-sexual, which didn't make sense to why Effay would use that word in such a horrible way.

Other's feel although Effay's statement wasn't no joking matter, that this is karma for Nojo's Lady Gaga/Jesus Dress-up game and how it was offensive to Christians. Which quickly escalated into the whole religion debate and how non-Christians must respect Christianity. Blah, blah, blah.....never ending story.

Many people made their way into Effay's guestbook to put in their 2 cents about the drama. When Nojo made sure to do the same also, Effay demanded Nojo was not welcome in his guestbook and referred Nojo to "Satan." In the end, Effay later removed the statement in his presentation and wrote "Everybody makes mistakes, fack you all who are perfect." Which I'm still puzzled whether or not it was a apology???

Whatever the drama was generally about, I hate how religion played a part of it. I personally feel when it comes to religion, there will always be conflict. Meaningless conflict.

Scandalous Trade, Busted!

We're all used to trading here on Stardoll. We normally trade clothes for money, clothes for clothing, whatever. Recently TrixieDeeLight(Blake) shared with me that someone was willing to accept a nude picture of him for 'rare' dress.

Blake received a message from Fashionman. saying, "Faith Hill Dress- Bid at 1,000 Buy it now at 2,500". Need I explain? Here is their full conversation:



If you read the skype conversation you'll see that Blake offered Eamon a nude picture for the dress. The odd thing about this is that Eamon didn't say no. Instead he asked if he a 6-pack, and if you ask me he wasn't talking about beer, if you know what I mean.

When I spoke to Eamon about this situation he told me that Blake was interested in the dress, unfortunately he had no money to purchase the dress so he offered him a nude picture. Eamon told me he declined Blake's offer, which we see he didn't say no immediately. He then told me that Blake sent him a picture of his face, without asking for a face picture, which we clearly see him asking for a face picture.

Come to think of it, a few weeks ago some of Stardoll's 'new generation' had a little "get together" aka lets talk about sex party. I was immediately felt uncomfortable but these people, mostly younger than I talking about things they've NEVER done before so openly. There were nude pictures of nameless guys. Ask anyone who was there you'd swear that skype conversation was filled with gay desperate OLD MEN! I have nothing against gays, but the old desperate ones who watch re-runs of Sex in the City, watch out for them!

At one point in the conversation Nojarama wrote:

So Nojo copied and pasted a message Blake left him privately saying "PLZ $END ME NUDE$". Blake seemed kind of embarrassed then replied saying "what are you smoking nojo??" and immediately left the conversation which If I were in that position (which I most likely won't be in) I'd probably do that same.

Well that is enough with this! I'm about to go grab my camera... I'd do anything for MKA RC.(joking) Later!

Becka Speaks About E Leak

Psychotic-Freak, co-owner of Fashion Group and a Eternity Magazine team member, has just released a statement regrading the recent leak fiasco over at E.

Here's Becka's statement:
"Well, I don't log on for one day, I come back and all of a sudden, E graphics I barely knew existed have been leaked, and I'm a suspect because I didn't log on for one day. Pardon me for scraping myself off the screen. Well, first of all, I'm not particularly mad about the graphics. I don't know if Charlotte would feel differently, but the way I see it is that the issue was not going to be released, so it's not a massive shame that they got seen. We should have done that really, shown people the stuff that never was. What I do feel is incredible disappointment. I thought we could trust the E team, but I guess that's not to be, huh? I really don't know what to feel anymore, but I have my people I definitely trust, and one of them is Baya. The person who did this clearly seems fame, and Baya doesn't need or crave that, and I know she is too genuine to have done this. So anyone who's targetting her, please try to find a new hobby, jealousy isn't that attractive. There are a few people on the team I trust, but the others, I really don't know what to think now. So as soon as I can get hold of Charlotte to confirm it, the staff blog will be deleted, and from now on, an individual member will only know their own work and will only have access to their own work. It's a real shame that we have to lose our good working environment because of one person's betrayal. Guess it tells you something about trust. It's often misplaced."

Things just have been so crazy this week with stories like Elite-girl & Nojarama and the hacking of UndamyUmbrella. People these days just don't care and think they can do whatever they want. It's frustrating.

Bye-bye....for now

Nojarama is saying bye to Stardoll....but just for a couple of weeks!

According to Nojo, his leave has nothing to do with the whole Elite-girl and BabetteCouture mess that took place yesterday, which sadly resulted in Linda and Nora leaving Stardoll themselves!! I talked to Nojo yesterday about what happened and after speaking too him, I don't blame him for doing what he did. I'm not saying it was right, but it's understandable.

Here's what Nojo say's about his break from SD:

Nojo isn't the only one taking a leave from stardoll, MSM writer M_Themis, is also taking a break from Stardoll and won't be back till the Summer of 2011!!

Linda done with KOM???

Is Elite-girl done with King of Media?? Sure seems like that right now and it's all because of a post that was full of lies that Nojarama fed her with.

Nojo told Linda that BabetteCouture was a boy and thought since Nojo was a best friend of her's Linda believe him and went ahead and made a post about it on KOM. Once the post was publish, Linda receive tons of backlash for posting the story because there wasn't any real proof that it was true and it was nothing but hearsay. Then Nojarama left this comment below:
Nojo claims he lied to Linda to "see what sort of person" she was. Linda has since changed the post and obviously got furious at Nojo for making her look like a fool!

When I spoke to Linda on Skype, she told me she's "done blogging" because of it!

Linda, this is every gossip reporter's worst nightmare, but I would consider this has a test and a lesson really. A test of friendship and a lesson on blogging. Take this negative into a positive. Let out your frustrations right now and then move on and don't let this mistake and Nojo be the reason you stop from doing something your great. KOM is one of the best gossip blogs out there at the moment, it would suck to see it go.

SFW: Day 7

Unfortunately, it's the last day of SFW. Day 7 started off slow, with a disappointing announcement that Eternity Magazine was NOT releasing it's issue today, but things slowly picked up when a surprise release of Lipstick Magazine debuted. Then a hour later the awards were distributed. Although there were bad moments, everything turned out better than expected.

Day 3 started of kind off rough, delays were certainly a huge thing throughout the event, but at the end everything turned out wonderful!

L'arte De Lily

Yet another brilliant collection by Doinker_chic, L'arte De Lily wasn't has great has her Perfection collection from yesterday, but her last piece (ball gown above) certainly left people amazed!

Eccentric Magazine

After one year, Star_Awards finally bought back Eccentric Magazine! The issue is really huge with amazing graphics (that were from Second Life) and a tons of entertaining articles about fashion trends and people!! It is certainly different from other magazines.

Coconut

Psychotic-freak & Nojarama's Coconut collection left a couple people confused, but most people fascinated. Overall, the collection itself was huge and had beautiful bright yet warm colors that bought you back to Summer!!

Mimi_Mami's back and with Party's

For those who know who Mimi_Mami is well she is back, for the ones who don't I will try to make a short entry for her, she is an old member of Stardoll, used to have an amazing magazine and she is a very talented girl in graphics.

Today, she hosted a Summer Party where everyone was Invited in it and a lot of people come but most spicy parts of it where some of the Virtual Fights to give more Alegria to the party.

The most "hot" ones were the ones between Me (Miss_LolitaF) & Maria (Mimi_Mami) fighting for who would be Solo/Nojmul's date (Nojarama).

Another one was between Solo/Nojmul (Nojarama) with Marco (-Marco.) fighting for the Vasia (Vasia28).

Also special mention goes to SakuraDream, Fatimuchi, Mysecketlover, Manolo.DiCicco and everyone who came, just check Maria's GB to read more.

Stardoll trannyman applehead is fuming, but only because he doesn't care, so to prove it he made a video directed towards nojarama; and the message? FUCK YOU!

Drama between applehead and nojarma has been intensifying recently and has spilled over onto the blogs they write for, with nojarama saying apple wears a wig and apple claiming nojarama is jealous of him and his 'gorgeous hair' (ahem) and that Chace is in fact a girl! I've not spoken to either at length but apple is DESPERATE for attention, I remember a while ago he begged me to write about him on here as he wanted to be 'famous' so I would not be surprised if this is a collaboration between the two to get some much needed attention - both their blogs have turned into war zones between the two.

If Only R1MA Where Here...

On Stardoll, influence is in the air.

Whether your style influences other, or you're influenced by someone's style... R1MA would be quite happy. After deserting stardoll, and her blog... it seems like several users have commemerated (what seemed to belong to only her) the iconic influence surrounding her.

THE INFLUENCIAL:

These 3 girls have prooved to be some of the most stylish users on style. Each with their own unique way of dressing - I thought that the title was well deserved for them...

Fakeshake3: Ellie has shown stardoll since the very beginning that she can dress sharply. If she were a man, she would be the G.Q. Magazine cover-guy every month. I love what she is doing here with her look. Although it is all clothes of one brand, she works it. By using the right accessories, hair and makeup... she transforms this from business chic, to something HERS and only HERS. When probed about her different inspirations, she answered Audrey Hepburn, Coco Chanel, Katie Holmes, Agyness Deyn, and several others. Don't even say that this girl is a copy of everything chic, because frankly - EVERYONE has copied her on at least one occasion.

N1MKA4EVA: Charli's style is different. She if one of the nicest, most caring users on stardoll... and since I believe in karma, I think that something some where blessed her with her unique style. With touches of Lady GaGa, harajuku girls, babydolls, and something mysterious, her outfits (although usually in black and white) ALWAYS bring her whole doll to life. Not only can she work geisha makeup, she can also work fur, chains, and bondage! THAT is amazing. Her outfits always coordinate with the last, too. If you kept tabs of her outfits over a 1 month period - they would be enough to create a fashion collection. Her style evokes passion, idolitry, and splendor. Stardoll's very own Daphne Guinness. I LOVE it.

Hunnigal: God, Alice is gorgeous. Not only is she immensely talented, she is also stylish. Every day you see a different side of her. She's like a sphere.. at no point she stops! She never stops with being stylish! Not only is she influencial, she's the editor a stardoll magazine. She CHOOSES what we will wear every month, season... so on, so fourth. She's a gorgeous girl, and I love her personality! Her doll reminds me alot of Jane Birkin. So earthy, and stylish! Stardoll should name a handbag after her!

THE INFLUENCED:

Although two of these users were recently bashed in a best dressed list... I love what they're doing here. These up-and-comers inspiration is clear in each of their outfits, and I just LOVE IT!

Gkmktk: It's so obvious here, that she is inspired by a Georgia O'Keefe painting. Not only is she one of my favorite artists, she is a modern mastermind of feminity and style. Gkmktk really hit the right not with this one. Her outfit wreaks of the quite, desert terrain that Georgia died looking at. O'Keefe did many paintings of flowers - but she also did bones. I like how this outfit coordinates completely throughout with the same color. The shoes with the bow are a nice accent too. It's quite obvious that this girl has an avant garde style (by just seeing a few of her outfits)! I'm getting a wierd aura that her name will be in everyone's mouths quite soon.

Anchesenamon: Lady GaGa? No, this girl's name is Fayza (let me just say that name is GLORIOUS! lol...), and I like what she's doing here. It's plain and simple that she is inspired by GaGa. ALSO, I have to put it out there that her swimsuit is shear fashion. It was only in the starplaza for a few moments, and she scooped it up. I love this. It is SO Lady GaGa, because of the risque qualities, and none other than the lesbian kiss. Not only is she all over many stylish user's bff lists... she is SO soon to be all over the stardoll scene.


Nojarama: Although this boy has had some major fashion slip-ups, he looks SO fabulous here. When I first saw this outfit, the first thing that came to my mind was: Natasha Poly, if she would have walked off of Dolce and Gabbana's spring 2010 runway, and into Chace's suite. I love this look. This look is an ode to sex, in my oppinion. He showcases off his legs... and draws all of the attention to his medoll's face. Beautifuckingorgeous.
