He always plays a tough guy, but Sylvester Stallone showed a different side to him as his family paid a visit to the set of his new film.
The 65-year-old movie star put on a tender display with his daughters Sophia, 14, and Sistine, 13, while New Orleans shooting Bullet In The Head.
The Rocky star, who looked to be in incredible shape, cuddled his girls as his wife Jennifer Flavin, 42, looked on. Sylvester and Jennifer have been married since 1997 and have a third daughter together, nine-year-old Scarlet.
Although his rippling muscles are his trademark, Sylvester has dramatically slimmed down for his most recent role. Sly still looked buff in his pair of indigo jeans and grey polo shirt, but sported a noticeably smaller chest and stomach.
And while he has always had bulging veins, partly due to his huge muscles and extremely low body fat, his blood vessels were particularly protruding on this day.
Considering his back catalogue, it's no surprise that Sly's latest project is an action film.
The story follows Stallone as he teams up with a young detective after they are brought together by two vicious murders.The duo then embark on a high-stakes investigation and are willing to sacrifice everything to exact revenge.
Walter Hill, who produced all of the Alien films, will direct.Meanwhile, the film has been shrouded in a race scandal after US actor Thomas Jane claimed to be sacked from the production for being white.
Warner Bros recast his role with a 'more ethnic' actor to appeal to a wider audience, announcing that Sung Kang will co-star with Stallone instead.
Jane said: 'Well, Joel Silver (producer) came onboard the project and said that he has a quote-unquote "formula" for these quote-unquote "buddy movies" and it has to be a white guy and a quote-unquote "ethnic guy".
'And they relieved me of duty and basically paid me off, which I was really upset about. I didn’t get a call from Stallone. I was a little upset about that.
'Maybe they didn’t want anybody on the movie with a bigger d*** than him.'
