US SENATE APPROVES 35 MPG BY 2020



The US Senate has approved a bill that calls for all new cars and trucks to meet a corporate average fuel economy (CAFE) rating of 35mpg by 2020, up 40% from the CAFE levels of today’s fleets.The Senate approved the fuel standard law on a 65-27 vote.
