Strictly Come Planking! Holly Valance gets in on the internet craze as she lies rigid on the floor during dance rehearsals

She's young, fit and healthy and has only been practising her Strictly moves for about two weeks - so surely Holly Valance's muscles can't have seized up already?

This picture of the Australian actress lying rigidly still on the floor of a dance studio would suggest that she has done one too many leg lifts over the past fortnight.

But her dance partner Artem Chigvintsev soon cleared it up as he posted the photo of the former Neighbours star and declared that she was actually 'planking'.

Holly, 28, was seen lying face down on the rehearsal room floor with her arms tucked in by her side.

Artem, 29, last year's winner who has been paired with Valance for the upcoming new series, posted the picture on his Twitter page.

And he joked that the tough rehearsals were taking their toll on her and wrote: 'Now she's planking in rehearsals. Must be all those "nerves"?!?'

The pair have been hard at work practising their moves ahead of the first live show this Friday night.

Last year, Artem was placed with former EastEnders actress Kara Tointon, and they fell in love and are now an item.

But Kara admitted that it will be strange to see him dancing with someone else this year.

Speaking to Star magazine recently, she said: 'Artem dancing with another woman? I’m going to find that really weird.'

Not that Kara has anything to worry about - she and Artem recently moved in together and Holly has been dating property tycoon Nick Candy for two years.
