Obasanjo-Bello loses in father‘s polling station

Senator Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello has reportedly lost at the polling station in front of the residence of her father, ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, in Abeokuta.

Preliminary results of the vote count at Assis Compound Unit 1 polling station indicated that Obasanjo-Bello, of the Peoples Democratic Party, got 64 while the Action Congress of Nigeria clinched the unit with 118 votes. Others are the Peoples Party of Nigeria, five; Labour Party, one; and Congress for Progressive Change, one.
