Radio Perez In One Hour! *Earlier Time Test*

The reason for this is to test out how well it goes if it is at an earlier time of day. A lot of people who come to RP are from Europe & Asia, which means it is very late for theme to be there.

I will be out later on so why not let this be the perfect time to try out an earlier Radio Perez? I am just trying this for today, okay? So if it flops, you will most likely not see an update this early ever again.

So yes, that means it is 3 o'clock EST, and if my conversion in my head is correct, its 9 o'clock 8 o'clock GMT.
(Sorry I live in CST, I converted it for if it was 3 o'clock for me, haha.)

Best/Worst Dressed - Personal Style (Incomplete Commenting)

Well I just decided to go ahead and post this and will just let Dan update his comments when he gets the chance to, since I haven't heard from him in a while, which is why this has been on a bit of a delay.

So (so far) here are the comments from the Personal Style theme from last week! With guest commentators Sofi(lulla96) and Tyler(tylerisbold)!

Casual Cuties

Dei: Every time I look at semimilor_jonas' name, I read it as 'senor_jonas', but I can relate to her about this outfit, because I know when I am just going to a super market or to a gas station, I am not going to be in a pair of 4 inch heels and a designer dress, well, not unless I feel like it. While my favorite of the three has to be Laurenboy's since I adore vintage fashion and this look incorporates some very nicely.

Dan: I really love punkyfish2007's outfit, it's so cute and wearable, I could really see it being a real outfit, it's girly but laid back. Laurenboy's sweater and vest combo is very cute and dynamic, it has a vintage look to it, very 70's Inspired. semimilor_jonas has a pretty simple outit, I like the pink converse and actually own a pair, I don't think the outfit really makes a statement though.

Tyler: What I like about punkyfish2007, is that she really kept her outfit personal. Like Dan said before me, it is laid-back and casual. It is nothing dramatic, but a cute alternative way of making a sweet statement.

Sofi: Punkyfish2007 looks adorable, but that Stardoll & The City bag looks a little strange to me. Laurenboy's outfit would have to be my favorite out of the three. It's put together so well, and colors are organized well. Semimilor_jonas' outfit doesn't really impress me at all. It's just like something I'd see any new member wear, and it doesn't look like she put much effort in it at all.

Dan: Debbie is one of my favorite people on Stardoll and I think her simple style is adorable. I prefer her school look though, broughes and skinny jeans are so cute and a flow-y top gives contrast. 90210silverBH has a nice look, I don't know if it looks a bit too washed out, a pop of color in the shoes or a belt would have spiced this up a little I think.

Sofi: Debbie looks good and I absolutely love her first outfit! The only thing I would do, is switch around the sunglasses. 90210silverBH looks nice, but I don't really like it. The ring is a little... strange? I don't think it goes well with what she's wearing.

Tyler: supastar4real is a complete superstar! I would personally choose her 'school wear' outfit to be my favorite over her 'casual' one because it incorporates a lot more of Fall trends, opposed to the day time look. But that is the one amazing thing about having a personal style, you make it "yours". When it comes to 90210silverBH and her look, she played it safe. I love this theme, "personal style", because with it you can be whoever you want to be (especially on Stardoll). An outfit can define who you are. When I look at her outfit, I get the realization that she was not having a good day. 

Dei: Debbie(supastar4real)'s looks are very original while keeping up with trends today. While really I love 90210's because I can basically see myself wearing that in real life to a movie or out to eat.

Harry Potter Lovers

Dei: I think juicy-much's is very smart and witty, but lacks any personality unless you want to be seen as invisible, then you did a great job. While I thought it was really cute how Celeb added a little wand.

Dan: Nice idea, juicy-much but it kind of defeats the object of personal style if there is no person present. CelebLover44, would you really wear that dress? I doubt it.

Sofi: I love juicy-much's idea. It's really creative. CelebLover44 looks interesting, but it doesn't make much sense to me.

Beauties In Black

Dei: sethisDOOMED has to be my favorite of the three since she rocks orange very nicely. And I like how VampireLady33 let her own style mix with a fantasy style set of dark fairy wings. While punkyfish2007's is very cute and kinda plain but still nice to look at.

Sofi: These all look good, but my favorite is sethisDOOMED. I love her doll's hair, and how she added orange. It really makes the outfit stand out out from the other two, and it all looks very neat and organized. VampireLady33 has a very unique look to her doll and I think looks good in general. I just think some of the 'stuff' she's wearing is all over the place... like the butterfly.  Punkyfish2007 looks plain. I don't really like it though.

Tyler: VampireLady33 brought an edgy twist to the theme because she did not play it safe (which I like). She really shows what Stardoll represents when it comes to style, and even in real life. Be whoever it is, that you want to be.

Dan:

Edgy & Elegant

Dei: Well hopefully you don't have that many lip piercings in real life Rose8971, but love the belt + skirt combo.

Dan:

Tyler: _StarHellen_'s outfit impresses me. She has the perfect amount of class and she did it in her own way. I love the generous amounts of black and the dazzling splash of color. Way to go, sweetie.

Sofi: These are both nice, and I can't really decide which one I like more. The podium on _StarHelen_'s head looks awkward...

Dei: Not to be mean but I have seen a lot of people do that whole 'overuse the sleeve tattoos to cover the whole neck and chest' but quite frankly it seems a bit tacky, but the outfit its self is very chic. And vitalstatistick's  way of usage for the skirt is actually the first time I have seen anyone wear it and not look stupid, that is a good thing. :)

Sofi: LuxeHolly looks okay. It doesn't really catch my eye though. I would have to say I like vitalstatistick's outfit more. Actually, I love the dress she made using the hotbuys skirt, but what bothers me are the accessories. Her doll looks like she's about to sneeze(Dei Edit: It does! :o), and the red hair just doesn't go with the whole thing.

Tyler: LuxeHolly, wow, I am stunned. This has to be one of my favorites, if not - my favorite outfit of the night. On a personal level, this girl has genuine identity. I, however, do not support smoking. I love her Fall inspired black, sheer maxi skirt. The burnt orange tones. It just seems like she knew what she wanted and what she was doing (which she probably did). Keep it up!

Glam Punks

Dei: I am so in love with sucha96's look! I love punk/grunge-like style. But Funkylicious, you seem like you're about to cry. :(

Dan:

Sofi: Sucha96 looks hot, but I would like it more if she wore tighter pants. I also don't like the scarf. Semimilor_jonas' look is alright, but her scarf clashes with her top, it literally hurts to look at, haha. Funkylicious looks really depressed. The outfit is really ordinary, and the rose is strange...

Dressy Diva

Dan:

Sofi: Luxury_Magazine is looking lovely! The color of the skirt is a little too bright in my opinion,  so that's the only thing I dislike about it.

Dei: I would also wear this type of outfit out somewhere, I love pencil skirts, and I disagree with you Sofi, I think the hat should be brighter!

Black and White

Dei: Creative and kawaii.

Sofi: I really like this, but why is the owl necklace there..?

Dan:

Miscellaneous

Sofi: I think I froze for like, 20 seconds once I saw that 'forever alone' bag. That is just amazing! It just makes sakutaro's look even better overall. I really hate vitalstatistick's red hair and green makeup with her current look, which in general is okay without those two details. Archiecomiczfan's outfit is nice too, but I dislike the choker/necklace thing. 

Dei: Though if that was me, Archiecomiczfan, I would have toned down the outfit when wearing a tee shirt, but I love how she is obviously a dedicated fan of Michael Jackson and wanted to dress similar to him, but do you always want to dress like someone else? Vitalstatistick's is definably my style, I love everything about it, and the shoes are so cute! And at sakutaro's, I think I died a little and rolled on the floor for a bit when I saw the Forever Alone bag, does the designer of the bag it still make it? I want one. D:

Now about the previous Radio Perez theme, yes, I know, I didn't keep my 'promise', I guess you could call it that, about having them in on time, and well.. Its okay if you want to blame me for it or complain 'You are such a stupid bitch, Perez did it better.' But I am not one to compete or try to one-up someone, simply put, its late because of life.

Though, if it makes you feel any better, I finished the list on Sunday after I spent an hour and a half on it all together. But over this occurring week, many people have either been uber busy or completely just couldn't comment on the post due to Blogger issues, okay? Its not because someone is lazy or forgetful, just.. busy. And if that makes you piss your panties, then boo hoo you poor baby.

Now, anyway, I am deciding to maybe have week gap inbetween outfits, since it is the middle of the one of the busiest times of the year for students, aside from end of semster/yearly exams.

And that people can discuss a new theme during the Radio Perez week that is on break, like today's Radio Perez.

On an end note, I can't promise the outfits right now. Bye bye for now.

Radio Perez: Theme Of The Week - Be Yourself!

 For a new week of Radio Perez, Dan had picked a lovely theme where its about you!

 Basically, give us your way to dress! Whether you want to show off your Stardoll style, or just the way you dress in real life, or even both! What are your trends or what you find trendy. We want to see how is your take on fashion your own way, simple right?

Whether you are gothic or preppy, a hipster or a glamor girl, a trendsetter or a trend follower, how do YOU define fashion?

So after you made an outfit to define you your way, just take a screen capture, crop it, save it under .PNG format, and upload it to either Imgur or Tinypic please! And post your entry or entries in ONLY in the comments below.

Radio Perez: DRAG QUEENS - Best and Worst Dressed!

Before I begin, I just have to apologize for being M.I.A and not hosting a Radio Perez last week. I was in London. Don't worry though, there will be a Radio Perez this Friday hosted by Dei and Dan! Now, on with the best dressed list!

Best Drag Queen of the night

Jack: I chose pikandchew as the best, because over all, she had the most flamboyant outfit without it being too tacky and I loved the Dame Eda style glasses!


Dan: I don't mind this, yeah it is a bit fairy princess for my taste but it's cute enough and very flamboyant which is in keeping with the theme but it really doesnt inspire me much, it looks more like a Barbie than a tranny.


Gia:This getup is okay, but it doesn't jump out at me. But hmm...you know I'm a sucker for pink hair.

Dirty Divas

Jack: punkyfish2007 and superjuniormfan could totally be in some kind of Halloween themed drag show! I love ilovebears9 HUGE hair and her make up is perfect! Felina2066 looks hilarious, the boa is just delicious and the layering work is lovely. I was very impressed that dream.on made her doll a male and still pulled it off, she looks awesome!


Dan: The only one I really like is Felina2066, I like her hair, her make-up and her outfit. None are bad really just not anything outwardly special and a few don't even look like men dressed as women, just women dressed like crack whores. I think dream.on has a fun outfit but it looks crazy, and her make-up is normal.


Gia: I'm going to have to go with dream.on. Shes the only one who used an actual male body. Very dramatic and queenish. lol. I'm also feeling superjuniormfan's doll. You can never go wrong with all black.

Droopy Drag

Jack: I just didn't feel this outfits, they all seemed droopy and lifeless in their own way. supa_star4real looks somewhat like a Drag Queen, but her hair looks so out of place. I adore Kiki00789's hair, but that skirt makes her look pregnant. RuleOfRoses looks so odd, her make up is kind of nice, though.

Dan: I like them all, they're not really tranny but they are inspired and well made, supa_star4real looks amazing though, like a tranny before they put their wig on and take to the stage to wow the crowd with a performance of It's Raining Men. Great job guys/gals? :s

Gia: supa_star4real is stunning, and I love Kiki00789's baby blue powdered wig. As, for RulerOfRoses, if she was going for "scary wild eyed queen" then she definitely nailed that look to a T.

Classy Queens

Jack: ForeverGorgeous does just have RuPaul written all over her, and she is the most realistic tranny. loveshorses5 is by far my favourite tranny, she is so over the top but I love it! I think if she had toned certain aspects of it down she could have been the best of the night, did I mention I LOVE LOVE LOVE her make up and features, her face looks crazy! xXEmoxCherryXx, one word - FABULOUS!

Dan: I love ForeverGorgeous' look! as Gia said, I ghought of RuPaul straight away! not so keen on the dress, looks like it was made from curtains. lovehorses5 is amazing though, out of everything I've seen so far she has the most realistic and sterotypical tranny look and the outfit and make-up are hilarious and beautiful at the very same time. Awesome.

Gia: ForeverGorgeous looks just like RuPaul here. The cheekbones scream drag queen!

Bland Bitches

Jack: I guess I prefer laurenboy's but that's only because she has sparkles

Dan: I disagree with Gia, I don't think laurenboy nailed the look, the outfit is cute but it's not very memorable or adventurous, I do like it but I don't really think it's anything special. Dei looks beautiful here, she looks like she changed up her face to look more manly and that's a great idea, instead of going for the traditional transexual flamboyance she has simply made her doll more butch and then glammed it up. I love the background too, looks like she's on stage at a comedy house.

Gia: When it comes to looking like an overall drag queen, laurenboy nailed it and I like how To_Royal used the lighting. Tres' chic.

Tacky Trannies

Jack: 10notaskater10 and candycutie232 look so failed scene, it hurts my eyes. IWantFabulous looks like she/he (?) was dragged out of a dumpster. Awful. I wouldn't be surprised to see LipGlossStar walking the streets "looking for a good time"

Dan: I like IWantFabulous and LipGlossStar9's looks the most, I honestly don't really like any very much but those two made me smile, 10notaskater10 and candycutie232 look like wemo teenage girls going to a Jefree Starr concert, not trannys.

Gia: Tacky indeed. They're all tacky but LipGlossStar9 is the tackiest. That's definitely big, dramatic, drag queen hair. Cute. lol

Hazy Hustlers

Jack: Lollara123 looks dumb, what kind of professional drag queen has a stubble? Shame on you. The rest just look...weird and too crazy, I don't even know how to describe them. I'm scared.

Dan: Lollara123 looks like a white Nicki Minaj? Rose8971 looks like she's on a gothic Victoria Secret runway, shiningstar746 looks like a suspicious teacher and supa-star4real looks like a raggy doll. I LOVE THEM ALL!

Gia: shiningstar746 is nerdy, drag chic. I like.

Jack: You can tell she was going for Jeffree Star, but it's not that good. I like it, but certain things about it put me off, like the awkward bunny purse.

Dan: I love Jefree, I met him and he's actually really beautiful in real life, I don't hate this I just don't think it really does Jefree Starr justice, but nice idea!

Gia: I love Jefree Starr. He makes me sick. Haute look.

Jack: The hair and make up is cute! But the brick wall panels look so out of place and distracting.

Dan: I love the hair, it's fierce and looks like cotton candy, the make-up is also pretty and I like the over all look but the outfit leaves a lot to be desired. I don't blame you for cropping it out and letting up just see the effort you made in the beauty parlour.

Gia: Lol. This is adorable. And adorable drag queen. I love rainbows.

Jack: At a first glance I thought that was the cover to Born This Way. This is an okay look and I like how she submitted it in black and white, classy!

Dan: I can see where this was going and it works well and queencutiesoda did a really nice job matching the accersories together but I don't like it much, to be honest the head shot 'dress ups' are kind of boring, I love seeing the full outfit. Nice but not exciting.

Gia: I love this photo of Rupaul. Very classy look.

Jack: I normally don't like these make up looks, but this is perfect! Almost everything is spot on. Love it!

Dan: LOL! This is hilarious and so accurate! I, again am going to disagree with Gia and say I think this took a lot of effort, everything is as perfect as Stardoll allows, the lips and eyebrows especially. Awesome pick, I wish you had dressed up as Adam too.

Gia: I'ts okay but I don't sense any real effort at all.

Jack: queencutiesoda submitted to many looks. Some were good, some were okay and some were just shitty, this is one is just shitty.

Dan: This is pretty weak, I think it looks like one of the 'Real Housewives of ____' rather than a tranny, it's just not great, I think the make-up is actually nice but based on the rest of the entries this one is rather bland, I liked the RuPaul one better.

Gia: Meh

Jack: The headdress on amy_0202 is unnecessary, but other than that she looks amazing. I'm not sure about the other two, they're okay, but meh...not the best.

Dan: I think ForeverGorgeous has great make-up but the outfit looks like she could not decide and just threw anything in eye sight on, not a good look. amy_2020 actually looks nice from the wait down but the bust is just too busy and looks a bit confusing. Martusia_144 looks good, tranny or not!

Gia: Martusia_144 has this one in the bag. The other 2 look like a hot layered mess. I'm not sure what they have going on. Those outfits are even too busy for a drag queen.

Efortless Messes

Jack: Nothing exciting to me here, I think they all just look too safe and vitalstatistick looks very sloppy.

Dan: I disagree with the catagory! I don't think these are effortless at all, vitalstatistik looks fierce! especially the second outfit, that's so trannylicious and awesome. semimilor_jonas first outfit is kinda cute too, sure it's nothing epic but I don't hate it. The second, yeah...lame but I doubt effortless.

Gia: semimilor_jonas in the green. Simple green frock, with big drag queen hair.

Tonights Radio Perez begins in less than an hour (6pm EST)! Although, I regret to inform you all that there will be NO THEME for tonight, and therefore will be NO Best Dressed List. Don't worry though, the Drag Queen Best Dressed List will be up shortly, there has been a minor issue with commenting which meant I had to postpone it even longer, sorry 'bout that!

Tonight at Radio Perez, it's drag queen night!

Radio Perez: DRAG QUEENS

Due to popular demand (and me thinking it's an awesome idea), this weeks theme is...

Yes, that's right, DRAG QUEENS! So, whip out your wacky wigs, extravagant eye make up, high heels and don't forget to go drag queen crazy!

If you don't know what a drag queen is, it's basically a man who performs or just casually dresses as  a woman, think of it as like a step down from a tranny, but much more over the top! But for a more detailed description click here.

I hope you all have fun with this theme, as I know I definitely will!
