SD "fashion" promo: Gone Too Far?

So I logged onto Stardoll after a long day, just to see what was new.
To my dismay, what do I see?
None other than the enemy of fashion. The bane of fashions existence. The fashion devil herself.
the conglomerate monster store whose name should not be spoken (During Fashion Week). KMART.


On MY Stardoll...

They refused to wear those hideous stripped pants.


"I'm calling corporate. This is an outrage!", I dramatically exclaimed...


But no, really?
KMart? I mean I'm all down for store promos Stardoll, but this has gone too far. First Kohls. Now THIS. Kmart is obviously paying SD to do this, but you'd think they'd turn down certain stores, for the sake of fashion if for nothing else.

If I wanted to wear KMart, I'd go out and buy it. We come to SD for thee hottest fashion.
I'd honestly rather shop in a thrift store than go to Kmart for clothing.They have some good finds! The gall!...

2010 Holiday Calendar

Hey all! The 2010 Holiday Calendar has been released, and I have to say I hate what they are doing. There aren't two separate calendars for Superstar/Non-Superstar, and the items they have released are just plain ugly. I think that on some days they will sell both SS/NSS items, and on some days it will be just NSS. That's too bad, because the Superstar items would sell much better if they were just for Superstars. I also hate the design on the front, it's too Other Worldly for me. I hope we get some super-chic items in the calendar, but I don't have super high expectations for it.
What are your thoughts on the 2010 December Calendar? No picture sorry, but you can visit the calendar here. Also, don't you think that there should be something for Hanukkah/Kwanzaa? Hope you're living the Teenage Dream this December! ;)

Stardoll In The City!

A brand new store has been released, called Stardoll In The City! The reason for this shop is to celebrate the DVD release of the movie Sex In The City 2! Tons of them look like utter shit, but there are a few that I'm happy with. I'm kind of sad that Stardoll had to ruin some of these, and I wish they could look better. They're also super expensive, and I wish they would have gone a bit cheaper. Some designers included in this store are Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik (of course!), Chanel, and Halston! What are your opinions on this new line? Would you fork over $40 for a newspaper dress? Post a picture of your outfit, and you could be featured in the 'Best Dressed In The City!' post!
