Alexander McQueen Fall 2010

Wow. This was quite the emocial show... for all of us. Not only is this some of his finest work, it just breathes his spirit. We see elements of past and present. Although it pains me to see that he will no longer be designing at his label (which I may add, saved fashion all together!)... but, this is the perfect way to end. Fabrics had paintings by the masters, and an athereal effect. Think of... Raphael, or Michaelangelo's mork... in dress form. This girls looked like COMPLETE angels. Now, I'll leave you... wit hopes that you study these pictures over... and over, instead of reading my (pathetic) tribute to his newest collection. Words can't even describe it... :)

Kiyah Pulls a Kasia

Nicole gives Kiyah (zanegirl90210) her comeuppance after coming under attack for posting a ‘who wore it better’ tribute post to the late great Alexander (Lee) McQueen.

Kiyah called it ‘distasteful’ and in my honest opinion I find her brash reasoning the only distasteful thing to come out of the situation itself.

What. The. Furk was Kiyah on!! In circumstances somewhat resembling Kasia-gate, Kiyah basically made herself look like a right attention seeking twat.

Get real.

Some of you may have heard that the iconic designer Alexander McQueen committed suicide a couple of days after his Mother – Joyce, died last week. Personally I think this is a terrible loss, for the fashion world and of course his family. It’s so sad to hear about things like this, especially about people that have so much talent and that have died so young. Perhaps known most for his amazing avant-garde type designs and the shoes that everyone loves – the Armadillo’s. :( Click HERE to read the full article on ‘Mail Online’. He shall be greatly missed.

UPDATE- Here's an official statement from the McQueen team that was on his site, it reads:

''ON BEHALF OF LEE MCQUEEN'S FAMILY, ALEXANDER MCQUEEN TODAY ANNOUNCES THE TRAGIC NEWS THAT LEE MCQUEEN, THE FOUNDER AND DESIGNER OF THE ALEXANDER MCQUEEN BRAND HAS BEEN FOUND DEAD AT HIS HOME. AT THIS STAGE IT IS INAPPROPRIATE TO COMMENT ON THIS TRAGIC NEWS BEYOND SAYING THAT WE ARE DEVASTATED AND ARE SHARING A SENSE OF SHOCK AND GRIEF WITH LEE'S FAMILY.

LEE'S FAMILY HAS ASKED FOR PRIVACY IN ORDER TO COME TO TERMS WITH THIS TERRIBLE NEWS AND WE HOPE THE MEDIA WILL RESPECT THIS.''
